Valerie is an editorial portrait and lifestyle photographer based in North Vancouver, BC. Her photography journey started as a way to connect with people and continues to be the passion that drives her, even without a camera. She seeks to learn from the stories of those around her and to understand what makes us uniquely different and still fundamentally the same. She attributes this to her upbringing with parents from two cultures, different to her own, and the many cross cultural travels at a young age. She seeks to live life to the fullest and capture beauty along the way with themes of connection, joy, and peace in her work.
