Humanitarian work is where my heart is. In 2019 I embarked on a life-changing trip with a humanitarian group to Papua New Guinea. This trip re-focussed the direction of my photography and sparked a bigger desire to use photography as a means to have a greater impact while making a small footprint.

I consider myself a chameleon and can adapt to my surroundings and the people around me. Going between the world of the privileged and developing nations has taught me that happiness is not something you can buy. Seeing the smiles of the children and adults in the communities that seemed to be lacking in resources woke me up, and to be honest, that’s the environment I feel at home in and want to work with most of all.

Using my tool of photography to capture images of the organizations that are on the ground making a difference as well as putting my portrait skills to work photographing the beautiful people in the communities is practically a dream come true. This is the work that feeds me and I will continue to seek it out in everything I do.
